Al Humdulillah, over the past eight years, MakeHijrah.com has brought light to the subject of hijrah and presented real life examples of those who have made it and strive to maintain it. We have endeavored to paint a realistic picture of what hijrah looks like in our modern times to encourage you to explore the possibility of making hijrah. Of course these efforts are not free. We will continue to take on the costs of producing this material and paying the fees associatied with it, but we cannot reach our full potential without financial assistance. We believe we can make more in-depth coverage of more Muslim countries and support more Muhajireen with a little help from you. Help us be of more support to you and the rest of the Muslims.
Your contribution goes to helping us raise the quality of our content and bring you more detailed coverage of the hijrah options out there. Please make your intention for the sake of Allah, as this content is intended to help Muslims complete the noble duty of hijrah.
Funds collected will be used to pursue bigger projects that will go much deeper, country by country, into the hows, whys, and wheres of hijrah. This includes better production and documentation. Some vital staff will be transitioned to paid employees who will focus on key aspects of the team's work, in sha Allah.
Al humdulillah, the MakeHijrah.com project is self-sustained. There are dedicated volunteers as well as professionals who are paid below market wages, which help keep the engine running. This appeal is to imporve the quality and professionalism of our content and to provide the seed money required for new hijrah related projects.
We operate with full transparency. If you have any questions about current and future projects, please feel free to contact us.
For many years Muslim have been moving from the West to the East looking for a better place to practice their religion. Many of these pioneers made this move in a time when there were no mobile phones and social media. Many of them did not document their travels or struggles in their new land. MakeHijrah.com was formed with the intention of helping people move to the Muslim world and avoid the mistakes we made while doing so ourselves. We are a resource for Muslims to get settled in the Muslim world with the least amount of mistakes.
Members of the MakeHijrah.com team are Muhajireen from Western countries living in the Muslim world for 10 years or more spanning a variety of Muslim Countries. We try not to speak only in theory. We want our advice and experience to be practical.
MakeHijrah.com is a website and a youtube channel dedicated to the topic of hijrah. MakeHijrah.com connected with other Muhajireen around the Muslim world to document their first hand experiences living abroad.
MakeHijrah.com's mission is to facilitate a smooth transition from the Muhajir's country of origin to their new home in the Muslim world by offering a range of services covering all aspects of the process. That is information as well as physical help.
Some Words From the Make Hijrah Team
"The journey, both physical and spiritual of the hijrah needs to be documented and discussed. This is our mission. To bring you the positives and negatives, the losses and wins along our own journey. The goal? With Allah's permission show you that this act of worship is beneficial to those at the planning stage, those on the journey and those who have succeeded. May Allah reward all on this journey, Ameen"
Hamza Abu Dahlia - England to Tanzania
"I'm not in the field of da'wah, may Allah give success to those who are, but I am into encouraging Muslims to choose better places to live and raise their families. This is what I can bring to the table. May Allah accept it from us, Ameen."
